At Clive Owen LLP we are committed to giving something back to our workforce and our local community.

The Environment
Our largest waste product is paper. All waste paper is shredded and recycled. We use duplex printing to reduce paper use and are working towards a paperless environment. We are embracing online and electronic formats for our business communications where possible. Marketing literature is sent electronically where possible. Old IT equipment is also recycled.

The Community
All partners and staff are actively encouraged to become involved in the community. A number of partners and staff are involved with charities as either trustees or advisers on a voluntary basis. We also take part in a number or local/regional fundraising activities. For more details contact our charities team.

 

The Workplace
We recognise that as a service based organisation it is essential for our staff to feel motivated and content in their work. Staff progression is actively encouraged and staff are given opportunities to broaden their skills where possible. We encourage charitable giving through donation boxes, coffee mornings and by encouraging staff to make charitable donations rather than sending Christmas cards.

We take the health and safety of employees very seriously and communicate our policy and guidelines in our employee handbook. All new employees must read this handbook and a copy is available at all times via the intranet. We obtain company discounts for a variety of services of interest to staff, such as insurance services, private health insurance and gym membership or promotions. We have an equal opportunities policy which is adhered to at all times.
