On 23 September 2022, chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng announced his mini-Budget.
The chancellor outlined a series of fiscal updates including:
- Cuts to income tax
- Changes to stamp duty
- Scrapping of corporation tax rise
- Subsidising energy bills
