Wellbeing in the Workplace: Good Business Fortnight 2025

Date posted: 19th Feb 2025

In celebration of the Good Business Charter’s (GBC) Good Business Fortnight, we were excited to collaborate with friends from AV Dawson, Elite Consult and Still Human for a productive morning of fostering wellbeing in the workplace.

Delegates, including clients and professional contacts, engaged in a thought-provoking and insightful workshop hosted by AV Dawson at its head offices, while networking over a healthy breakfast.

Focusing on the Power of Rest, the workshop acted as a timely reminder that rest isn’t a luxury, but a necessity, as guests participated in a range of activities and discussions on the importance of taking breaks, recharging and, above all, prioritising wellbeing.

The event coincided with Good Business Fortnight, an initiative organised by the GBC that champions responsible practices in the workplace and making a positive impact on society and the environment.

The GBC is awarded to businesses that meet ten essential components covering employee conditions and wellbeing, environmental impact, and the treatment of clients and suppliers. By committing to all ten components, Clive Owen LLP demonstrates its dedication to responsible business growth, aligning with its core values and future growth plans.

Commenting on the successful and productive breakfast event, Bridget Charlton, Marketing Director at Clive Owen LLP, said: “We joined the Good Business Charter because it provided a great framework and roadmap for the firm to build its sustainability agenda. A huge part of that is wellbeing, and as the world of work evolves, it is really important for us to understand what matters most for our team, so that we can build a successful and positive environment in the workplace that people enjoy.”

We are grateful to AV Dawson and its team for hosting the event, Julie Liddell, of Still Human, who delivered the workshop, Jenny Herrera, CEO of the Good Business Charter for endorsing the breakfast session, as well as fellow event partner, Emma Cranie, of Elite Consult Group.
