BOOK NOWCarl Wright, head of our Grants Advisory Service, is joining Ward Hadaway partner and state aid law specialist Dean Murray, to discuss the new Subsidy Control Bill which is expected to become law in 2022.
The new Bill will potentially make some significant changes to the rules governing the award of subsidies, including grants, in the UK.
This panel event, which will be chaired by Ward Hadaway partner Damien Charlton, will provide lots of opportunity for questions so you can find out what to expect when the new subsidy control regime replaces the old EU state aid regime that applied pre-Brexit.
The webinar will cover what the law is currently, following our exit from the EU, and what changes this important Bill will introduce. We will discuss what to expect both politically and economically, with the move from a “block exemption” based approach to compliance and the introduction of a more flexible but less certain system.

You will be given the opportunity to pose questions during registration, or to use the Q&A feature in Zoom during the event.
