I have worked at Clive Owen for over 25 years and am now a Partner in the firm. I provide proactive business advice, business development strategies and accounts/audit advice to a range of clients from owner managed businesses to not for profit clients and academies.¬† It’s a challenging and demanding role but I love the variety and fast paced nature of what I do. Qualified with a small practice in Middlesbrough, before joining the head office of a regional practice in Northamptonshire as a Manager. I joined Clive Owen in 1996 and became a partner in 2006.

I manage the ‚ÄòNot for Profit’ offering by the firm which includes educational establishments and charities. I also have a number of OMB clients in a range of sectors from solicitors to engineering to retail.

Establishing the educational offering for the firm over the last twelve years, so that we are now seen as the leading experts in the North East. Did you always want to work in accounting? When I was 5 years old I wanted to be a farmer. As I got older accountancy was the obvious choice – It was just a question of practice or industry, so I did two placements at University to ascertain which I preferred. I think I made the right choice.
