Experience and Expertise:

I have been with the Firm for 25 years, beginning in the Audit & Accounts Department then moving into the Tax Department in our Durham office. I came back to Darlington to work full time in the Tax Department when I returned from maternity leave 18 years ago. Initially, I covered all taxes but over the last 15 years I have built up the time spent on Trust & Estate work as well as assisting High Net Worth individuals to the point where I now spend all my time in these areas. This led me to complete the Trust and Estate Practitioners exams last year giving a wider background to my practical knowledge.

Career Highlight: 

Being promoted to Senior Tax Manager last year and passing the TEP exams 22 years after completing my last professional exams!

Working closely with Clive prior to his retirement was also a pleasure, vastly improving my lateral thinking trying to anticipate his queries.

Hobbies and Interests: 

Much of my spare time is taken up walking my two over-enthusiastic Labradors and dealing with my 21 hens. Gardening, swimming and yoga also keep me occupied.
