Career history
In 1995 I started working for a small family owned manufacturing business in North Yorkshire, where I progressed my way up the company and became IT Director. 2003 I decided to setup my own business providing IT services to business around the North East. In 2008 Clive Owen LLP purchased this business and formed Clive Owen Technology Services.

HND – Professional Sound and Video Engineering

Experience and expertise
I have 20 years in IT consulting for a variety of SME businesses. I have a strong manufacturing process background and extensive experience in cloud and hosted solutions, security and server design.

Corporate social responsibility
I currently present the Folk Music radio show on Bishop Auckland FM community radio station every week.

Career highlights
Traveling to Africa to setup IT systems in Johannesburg and Bulawayo. The continued growth and development of Clive Owen Technology Services.

Did you always want to be an IT Consultant?
As a young boy I wanted to be a Potter, as I got older I decided this was a better hobby than a career. I have always been interested in technology and found myself moving towards this through university whilst studying sound and video engineering.

Hobbies and interests
As a keen musician, I enjoy playing guitar in a folk duo around the UK folk festival circuit. I love playing in the traditional Scottish music sessions whilst on holiday in the Outer Hebrides.
